Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • Account data — your name, email address and a hashed password, or your Google account identity if you sign in with Google.
  • Designs and outputs — the images you upload, the working images we derive, the slices we cut, the alt text and links you or the AI provider write, and the HTML we render.
  • Integration credentials — Klaviyo private API keys and any OpenAI or Anthropic keys you add. They are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and only decrypted inside our processing service when a request to that provider is made.
  • Usage — counts of exports and built-in alt-text calls per month, job logs, and an audit log of key actions in your workspace.

How we use it

To run the service you asked for: slicing your design, generating alt text, rendering the email, pushing it to your Klaviyo account or packaging a ZIP, metering your plan, and sending transactional email (verification, password reset, export failures, usage warnings). We do not sell your data and do not use your designs to train models.

Who else sees it

  • Klaviyo — sliced images, the template HTML and campaign settings, when you click Create.
  • AI providers — a downscaled copy of each slice and the prompt, sent to Anthropic (built-in provider) or to OpenAI/Anthropic under your own key.
  • Resend — your email address, for transactional email.
  • Dodo Payments — our payment processor and merchant of record: your billing details, if you subscribe to a paid plan. We never see your card number.
  • Hosting — our servers and object storage. Sliced images are served from a public path so Klaviyo and email clients can load them; originals and working images stay private.

Retention

Projects are kept for the period of your plan (30 days on Free, longer on paid plans) and can be deleted by you at any time. Deleted projects and their images are purged from storage on a rolling basis. Integration keys are deleted when you remove them or delete the brand profile.

Cookies

We set only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site requests. There are no advertising or third-party analytics cookies, so there is nothing to opt in or out of; clearing your browser cookies signs you out.

Your rights

You can export or delete your data by deleting projects, brand profiles and keys in the app, or by writing to hello@emailslicer.io to close your account. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK you also have the rights of access, rectification, portability and objection under the GDPR.

Changes

We will post changes here and, for material changes, email account holders before they take effect.
